ARS Counsel Clients Win Big at The 63rd GRAMMY Awards

ARS Counsel congratulates its clients for their nominations and wins at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards!

Jairus Mozee, popularly known as J-Mo, produced Anything for You by Ledisi, which was nominated and Won for Best Traditional R&B Performance. This makes for his second Grammy win in 2 years! In 2020, he took home his first Grammy as a producer on the Album ‘Ventura’ by Anderson .Paak with the track Come Home featuring Andre 3000 for Best R&B Performance. He also co-produced 4 records from D Smoke's Album 'Black Habits' (Seasons Pass, Top of the Morning, Bullies, and Lights on), which was nominated for Best Rap Album.

J-Mo is a Grammy winning producer, multi instrumentalist and artist based out of Long Beach, California. His guitar talents have led him to perform with many incredible artists, including: Prince, Fantasia, Ne-Yo, Redman, Lil Wayne, Janet Jackson, and Lalah Hathaway. His songwriting and production skills have led him to work with amazing artists such as: Anderson .Paak, Anthony Hamilton, Earth, Wind and Fire, Kali Uchis, Kendrick Lamar, BJ the Chicago Kid, Boney James, Robin Thicke, Eric Benet, Jill Scott and many others.

Rae Khalil is a 22-year-old rising rapper, singer and songwriter who gained popularity as a contestant on "Rhythm + Flow" - Netflix's first original music competition program. Born and raised in Torrance, California, Rae has made a name for herself due to her captivating live performances, as seen on "Rhythm + Flow" and in her NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. She has already been co-signed by world class artists such as Anderson .Paak, Queen Latifah, and Chance The Rapper and has performed as an opening act for Queen Latifah, Common, and Leven Kali.

Rae is credited for her background vocals and songwriting contributions on Lockdown by Anderson .Paak, which was nominated and won for Best Melodic Rap Performance. This was her first Grammy win!
